ACCOUNT MANAGER @ BWK NEW YORK

Job Description

Join our growing team of PR professionals, researchers and writers. BWK New York is an award-winning PR agency focused on tech and innovation, founded by Ben Kellogg in 2012. We are looking to hire a full-time Account Manager, who will be directly responsible for managing client relationships and executing ambitious media campaigns. Day to day responsibilities will include writing, media research, journalist outreach and social media. The ideal applicant will have 3-5 years of experience in PR or marketing.  Important traits include: hard worker, self-motivated and a strong desire to work with some of the most inspiring and innovative people in the world. This is an opportunity to work directly with the TED Fellows and other innovative clients of BWK’s.

 

Requirements

You should be:

  • University-educated
  • Organized, ambitious and focused
  • Have 3-5 years experience working at an agency (or in-house marketing position)
  • Knowledgeable through experience using social media platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement and traffic to a website/social media pages.
  • Experienced at securing press coverage that results in increased traffic and business results for companies
  • Able to translate trends, technologies and metrics into conversational English
  • A strong writer
